This was an interesting read. I enjoyed the book, but I found myself thinking that there were a number of leaps from fact to assumption that had me scratching my head. Menzies tells a compelling story that questions the standard tale of Europeans (be they Columbus or the Vikings) having had a monopoly on visiting the New World.
