I've been trying to read this book for a while, well ever since I saw the movie starring Amy Adams and Meryl Streep (which was entertaining, but definitely not a movie I would be quick to view again), but the never-ending supply of library holds kept getting in my way. Finally, I had the chance to read it and can say that I felt it both very entertaining and very uplifting.
