It was an interesting read. I enjoyed reading about the author's family and personal experiences.

Autobiographies and biographies aren't books that I usually enjoy reading but I liked the way it was all tied together - one chapter from his childhood followed by one about his mother's past.

I only read it since I found a copy on my brother's bookshelves. I think he had to read it for assessment back when he was in high school.
