I continually found myself perplexed by this book as I was reading it. On the one hand, I kept expecting to feel bored by it: both because of the slow pace, and the flowy language. But in fact, I felt quite the opposite. I was intrigued by the relationships that were formed between the terrorists and the hostages, and I often thought to myself, "I don't know how anyone could write about a hostage situation so beautifully."
