What Members Thought
An incredibly well-written book (well, it was the Pulitzer Prize winner, duh!) and very engaging. The historical part of the novel that is interesting is that Kavalier and Clay are fictional comic book artists at the start of the art. Some of the history behind the comic book industry was very fascinating. The characters are memorable. There are many parts of the story that I found quite frustrating and all-in-all really strange, but I really enjoyed this novel!
This book was amazing! It held me in awe, excitement, frustration, anger, acceptance ... basically in that order. It made me feel the situation and experience the plot like few books manage. I thought it was cleverly written and well articulated.
