Jacob is 90 years old when we first meet him at a nursing home--or maybe 93. He can't remember. This is wonderfully written, so vivid and fascinating.. reminds me of Holes by Sachar. Could very well be a modern classic, at least in my books (pun intended).although it is pretty..um..graphic.
I loved this book. I adored the main character and found him very charming and sweeet.
A little cruder than I expected, and sadder as well, but a captivating story.
I liked the author's writing style...book was good.
