To be honest, I try to avoid the "hyped" books. I was suprised then to find that I actually enjoyed this book despite its hype. The ending is more than a little predictable, but is still a definite tearjerker. I LOVED this book. It had some sex and rough language, but it wasn't so bad or often that it bothered me. I loved her style of writing, loved the plot, loved the characters. It was heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time. This is a book that I won't take to used book store, and I'm going to re-read it again and again!

I thought that the premise for the book was very interesting, but I found myself often confused by the various jumps in time. Also, I thought that the sexual content of this book was so far over the top it was uncomfortable to read. This was certainly not one of the best books that I have ever read, but I believe that it had the potential to be really great.
