I found this book to be a tad melodramatic and will be avoiding the movie for that very reason. Once again I fell into the hype trap.
The story is told by alternating between each characters. Some of the vignettes seemed unnecessary once it is established early on that this type of time travel recognizes destiny over free-will.

I LOVED this book. It had some sex and rough language, but it wasn't so bad or often that it bothered me. I loved her style of writing, loved the plot, loved the characters. It was heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time. This is a book that I won't take to used book store, and I'm going to re-read it again and again!
