Had the opportunity to listen to the unabridged version of this audio book...needless to say I was a captive audience riding to and from work....but found after the first few chapters that I looked forward to my commute to listen to this amazing and well thought out book.... I can not wait for another one of her books.

Extremely riveting and fascinating gothic novel!
This could possibly one of my favorite books that I have ever read in my life. The story pulled me in, the mystery, the questions. You could get a grasp of what would and was happening, but you never quite got the whole gist, until the very end. I loved this book, and would definitely suggest curling up next to it on a cold night.
Outstanding from the first page. Similar to The Forgotten Garden, and equally as intriging.
I really enjoyed this book. It started off a little slow for me but I'm glad I stuck with it.
