I thought this book was kind of slow until the end. After that, I liked it and even thought about reading it again.
My favorite character was Campbell Alexander, the attorney. He cracked me up with his reasons for having a service dog. I was disappointed in the movie because Campbell is barely even in it! They cut out most of the lightheartedness and just made it sad. :(

This is my second book to read by this author (the other was 'The Tenth Circle' and they were both very engaging, fast, and thoroughly good reads. I have now added all of her books to my 'to read' lists! Very good!

Sad story about family that has a child to save another. really makes you look at your priorities. Ending was a surprise.
Interesting topic, an okay read. The love story between the lawyer and guardian was unimpressive, and the ending convenient.
