I read this in 2011 and while at the time, I'm sure the topic was cutting edge. 7 years later it was interesting, but I think these issues have been hammered out already and it seemed a tad belabored.
The changing voices didn't work for me so much, though. I sometimes would have to look back to remember who's perspective I was reading because I couldn't tell sometimes.

I thought this book was kind of slow until the end. After that, I liked it and even thought about reading it again.
My favorite character was Campbell Alexander, the attorney. He cracked me up with his reasons for having a service dog. I was disappointed in the movie because Campbell is barely even in it! They cut out most of the lightheartedness and just made it sad. :(

This is my second book to read by this author (the other was 'The Tenth Circle' and they were both very engaging, fast, and thoroughly good reads. I have now added all of her books to my 'to read' lists! Very good!
