This is one of my favorite books. I am an avid reader and have read thousands of books. This book was a heartwarming, brilliantly well written full of joy along with a bit of pain - just like life. I am big on rereading books and I will make sure to reread this and expect to enjoy it each time. Great book! I read all of Fannie Flagg's books...

Much, much better than the movie and the movie was good.
I read this years and years ago. I loved the book and the movie both now but I remember not liking the movie as much as the book when it first came out. Now that so much time has passed and I don't remember as many details about the book I appreciate the movie more.
