What Members Thought
Chocolat is one of my very favorite movies and I was thrilled to find the book at the library. I definitely liked the book and it was beautiful and lyrical, but I feel like the movie is more magical. Also, I prefer the way the characters are portrayed in the movie, especially the priest and Roux. Of course, I wanted some sweets (or even to make some) while reading this!! Same as when I watch the movie.
Liked it very much. It was significantly different than the movie.
