This is a biographical novel of Richard III of England. First thing you should know is this isn't the Richard of Shakespeare. This one was quiet difficult to rate for me, even after a couple of days to think it over.
The story in itself is really a journey through the life of Richard III. But the back blurb promises new insights in his life and in history. Sorry to say, the book doesn't make good on it. I know it was first published in the 80'ies and probably for that period it was true.
