I thought this was only ok. For one, I needed a family tree to figure out who everyone was. In addition, the story arc took way too long to get to a climax. Even when it did (the Osaka scenes), there was still another 50 pages of fluff. Couldn't speak to the historical accuracy, but the writing didn't strike me as being too terribly good and the whole thing took too long.
