So I read this when I was about 15/16, so it's been quite some time, but some of the images and feelings have never left me. I loved the way it immerses you in another culture and how it made me feel like jumping on the first plane to Japan. Reading other reviews it seems that there was some sensuality, but I honestly can't remember those parts. This might be hard to believe of a curious 16 year-old, but I probably skipped them.
