What Members Thought
I loved the story. At first I could not get into it and thought it would be boring, but it ended up being an amazing read. I learned about life in Afghanistan. It makes you thankful for not going through those types of tragedy in your own life.
I didn't necessarily enjoy this book. I would recommend it to others because it's a good story, but I found myself extremely troubled by the events and decisions made by the main character. There is one line that really spoke to me and has stayed with me, "there is a way to be good again." For some reason that line gives me great comfort and hope.

This story about two boys in Afghanistan was exceptional. I highly recommend it even if you saw the movie.
