This book was first published in 1998 and has a lot to say about big coorporations taking over Small Town, USA. It blatantly slams uber giants, such as Wal-Mart, and shines a light on the evil underlying capitalism... literally, in The Store! Like Bill Davis, I too cannot help but succumb to the overpowering forces and have even worked for them... good book!
