I liked the premise of the book. I liked the characters and the intrigue. I just didn't like how it was written. I hated that every chapter ended with a cliff-hanger of some sort. It felt very manipulative to me.

I think maybe there was too much hype around this book so my expectations were too high and I was ultimatley disappointed. It was pretty good but not great, entertaining though.
Very gripping! Its fast pace leaves you breathless. Definitly one of the books which you can't put down! If you haven't read DVC...you haven't read anything!

A very sensationalist novel, I doubt it will stand the test of time.
