Kinsey Millhone is leading the ordinary life of any woman who is a Private Investigator when Nikki Fife hires who to find out who killed her husband Laurence Fife. The only proble is the murder occured 8 years ago and Nikki was already convicted of the crime.

Your typical mystery/who-done it novel. Good but nothing too extraordinary. I'm not sure if I will continue with the series or not. I was frustrated with the ending. There was a lot of character acquisition and I enjoyed getting to know the characters. The ending however, was very abrupt. I had about 10-15 pages left and thought "There is no way that this author can wrap this up". She did. There is no TO BE CONTINUED...... it was just The End (duh duh duh)(think Belt on The Croods). At first I thought Kinsey Milhone was a breath of fresh air, but as the alphabet went on, the air got more stale. A light mystery read.
