What Members Thought

I'm just not sure I'm sold on this. Basically, it was all just too over the top. Villains were too textbook, love interests too obvious and realistic behaviour was nowhere to be found.
I guess I continued reading it enthusiastically enough, but I'm not sure I'll bother with more of this series unless I'm randomly in the mood for some chick-lit trash. ...more

I would give this 4.5 but since I can't, in this case I will round up. Not too light, not too heavy, it was just right. And the witty repartee was spot-on and did not feel forced or like the author was trying too hard. I am way late to the party, but, lucky for me, that means I have twelve-odd books to look forward to without having to wait!

Yeah, Joe Morelli is yummy. I don't know if he's going to end up being the "Bill Compton" of this series, but right now, I like him. ;)

I didn't expect I would like this book, as I don't usually read contemporary crime fiction, but I must say, I found it pretty funny. I look forward to reading of Stephanie Plum's next misadventure.
