This book greatly intrigued me. A fictional accout about a little tidbit from the bible. About a woman the good book gives us little information. I think Anita Diamant did an incredible job making these people seems like you could reach out and touch them.

I absolutely loved the first half of this book and all the stuff about the rituals and customs of women. I didn't like the second half as much and actually put the book down for a while but all in all it's a really interesting take on a biblical story.
