[close] Oh gang, this book really SUX. I'm halfway through, and will complete tomorrow, but cannot under any circumstances recommend you read this unless you like torture. I'm taking one for the ACRL team to complete this Bataan Deatch March of a book. Shoulda known I hated "Assasination Vacation." If an author disappoints you once...don't go back to the well. Thank god I didn't buy this book but checked out of my PL. No chapters and Large Print make it particularly egregious.

Did you know there was a difference between the Pilgrims and the Puritans? Yea neither did I. In fact there's a whole book written in stream of consciousness non sequiturs on the topic called the "Wordy Shipmates."

It all boils down to a bunch of Englishman/women leaving England in the 1620-30's to come to America for religious freedom (air quotes please). Really they just hated the Pope and Catholics a whole lot, and braved any hardship to create a gated community here in the New World whose de ...more
