Trebuie sa admit, nu sunt o fana a lui Jane Austen. Simplul fapt ca este adesea comparata cu geniala Virginia Woolf mi se pare deplasat, mai ales avand in vedere diferentele dintre cele doua. My 3rd time around reading P&P, still love it!

One thing I love about Jane Austen is that she only writes what’s needed to tell the story. Rather than going on and on with “fluff”. So the story moves quite fast.

I love Mr. Collins! What he adds to the story is so perfectly comical. I can’t not laugh at him 🤣

Also I love the 2005 movie version of this book. I think it is extremely well done in its interpretation. Kudos to Tom Hollander for playing a superb Mr. Collins in the movie.
