Another amazing piece of work by Austen! I have to confess I'm surprised that I am liking her works as much as I do.
The social commentary in Persuasion was again so strong. Every character in the book had their role and distinct personalities. Anne was such a relatable character to me, I actually love Anne, a lot. And Captain Wentworth is obviously something. Dude, dat letter thooo. I kind of died a little bit.

3.5 stars - I so love reading Austen’s descriptions of Bath, knowing the city so well really conjures up images. Very much enjoyed this book.
