This is the kind of story that twisted my heart. Just what I expected from reading the blurb.
As bitter and difficult to like Judah was, I could somehow understood his turmoil, his ruined self-confidence and how he wanted to feel deserving of Toby's love. Toby for me was an angel-like persona, almost too perfect a human being. That he could found something worth holding on in Judah, to love him so much, was just... amazing really.
