I would recommend this to fans of the "throw two alpha males together and watch sparks fly" dynamic that is so popular in M/M these days.
For me, i liked but didn't love this story, and my chief issue was pacing.
Prophet and Tommy are hot together, they're funny together, they work well as a team in their job. That dynamic really worked, and I am looking forward to reading their further adventures together.

Such a good read, I really love how the characters meet. It kind of reminds me of the Cut & Run series, but completely different again. I love how they meet through the agency that Prophet works for, and how Tom (or "Tommy") gets introduced and assigned to him.
The sex scenes also, are quite hot and veery detailed I thought.

This was my first novel by S.E. Jakes....where the hell have I been, under a damn rock. This author is a master of storytelling. It's not easy to write covert ops missions and mix in hot sex and tender moments. Phenomenal! I finished it within forty-eight hours and immediately went to the next installment.

I am definitely on the fence with this one. I'm with a lot of other people have reviewed this book. It started out strong and sexy. The middle became confusing because too many names were introduced. Really it almost made me put the book down. I understand that she's trying to introduce new characters that she is planning to appear in future books in this series, but when it distracts from the story, there is an error in judgment for where this needed to go.
