Okay, so my initial reaction to Catch a Ghost by SE Jakes was.. What the Fuck??? Yes that is exactly what I said to myself when I finished it. When I first finished the book, I would have given it about 2-3 stars. I was alternately confused and intrigued in equal measure throughout. After "sleeping on it" for a night I have changed my mind. This is a solid 4* maybe even 4.5* book. I can't quite nudge it up that last .5-1* because there we ...more

I am definitely on the fence with this one. I'm with a lot of other people have reviewed this book. It started out strong and sexy. The middle became confusing because too many names were introduced. Really it almost made me put the book down. I understand that she's trying to introduce new characters that she is planning to appear in future books in this series, but when it distracts from the story, there is an error in judgment for where this needed to go. Love the messed up MC's - don't like that I now have to wait until October to finish the story.
