Shame on me, allowing myself to be lulled into the HEA that was Stars & Stripes. Enjoying the honeymoon and forgetting all the underlying emotions and the fragile bonds that Ty & Zane forged their relationship on in the early books. Sure they both have their secrets, but for the most part it seemed they were willing to push those under the rug and so was I. I was not prepared for what Abigail Roux dished out in Touch & Geaux.

Man, what a book. Whatever words I have won't do justice to the experience of this book. I have so many thoughts.

I'm still recovering ;) I might write a real review once that has happened. Or never. We'll see :P

Uh, huh! I shoulda seen it coming. Everything was too sweet and rosy and our dear author Abigail Roux figured it was time to shake things up. Well, I was pissed, then so sad, then scared, and in the end felt like it all really needed to happen. Somehow our boys will work it all out and be stronger for it. I JUST KNOW IT!!!

I hadn't planned to read this because I felt like I'd read all I needed to about Ty and Zane and I liked where they were at the end of Stars and Stripes. This book just kept popping up, though, on my Amazon recommendations and in discussions with friends.
As I suspected, I didn't like this as much as other books in the series. Too much angst, too little real communication. I did enjoy spending time with Sidewinder and I enjoyed the flashbacks to get a glimpse of the guys before they knew each oth ...more

Easily 5 Stars. I'll keep this short b/c many other reviews have expressed exactly what I felt while reading T&G.
We have an ensemble cast in this book. All of Ty's Marine buddies are pretty solid in the story, even Owen :P and the flow of all the characters intertwining with each other was spotless. I cannot imagine how hard it must be as a writer to "write" a story with 2 MC's let alone a cast of characters. Well done Abi!

Having read seven of these installments, I think I enjoyed Touch & Geaux most. It took about 20% into the story before I was hooked because I wasn't interested in Nick and the Sidewinder guys. I was fresh out of Stars & Stripes and still coming out of my Ty & Zane sugarland haze so when the Sidewinders made their appearance, I couldn't have cared less.
I'm glad I stuck with this because it soon morphed into my type of romantic suspense - action and some 'real' sex, not just HJs and and BJs.

I really liked this book even if I felt like it came too late in the series. A book like this would have been a great 3rd book, but 7th? So much new information about both out main characters and the teardown to rebuild a better stronger relationship that I have been hoping for. There was also some clumsy set up of the spin off series by giving Nick a lot of POVs in this one, and a lot of focus on Kelly. (I honestly knew the series was out there but I didn't know who the characters would be, and

As always, it's the dialogue that makes the Cut & Run series for me. It's what brings Ty and Zane to life. And Nick and Liam Bell and Kelly and Digger... well, you get my drift.
This installment of Ty and Zane's adventure was filled with lots of introspection and heartbreak among the action, adventure and danger and is quite the roller coaster ride. What we're left with at the end is one helluva cliffhanger, IMO. Not a BAD one though - it's how these things should be - the story is complete in t ...more

Oh My Effing God! That was intense! wow just wow, I don't even. ahh. Okay. okay, so in this rollercoaster of a book Ty and Zane head off to the crazy city of New Orleans and meet up with Ty's old recon friends for a little party but of course, being who they are they end up in the middle of death and craziness and bad joo joo. Secrets come out that threaten Zane and Ty's relationship and an old frienemy of Ty's appears. And the ending dear lord that ending, woo. Five stars not enough.
