Kim Dare NEVER disappoints! I loved this prequel to "Call Me Sir, Boy" - especially because I'm a sucker for the 'how we met' stories. The balance here is perfect - I love how the Dom is intrigued by the brat and instead of going into "teaching lesson' mode, he gives his sub what he needed without changing him. Bret took one look at Marcus and knew he wanted Marcus to be his Dom. He had no experience as a sub but set out to make his dream come true regardless of his experience.

Marcus was being stalked. The other Doms at The Spread Eagle were making snide remarks to Marcus about the bratty sub so obviously stalking him. He finally had enough and confronted the boy.

This is a short read! Decent story and decent sex. Bret is not as bratty as he could be, IMHO, but still had a cute personality.

Good writing, good kink, and interesting characters. I wish we'd gotten a little more out of Marcus. Bret felt like such a *person*, but Marcus was just sort of the role he played: cold, emotionless dom. But parts of this were really funny, and the "misunderstanding" with the safe word frustrated me at first but then made perfect sense when it was explained. ...more
