Bound for the holidays, anyone? This delightfully kinky anthology is filled with authors I really enjoy. If you are into the holiday spirit and want to read some kinky BD and D/s, this book is for you! The majority is m/m smexy romance. Each story is crafted with a message of love and romance. Delightful!
Ms. Davitt kicks off the anthology with a dysfunctional D/s relationship. It's painful to watch the misunderstandings and miscommunication. I felt badly for the Dom who is trying to find his way ...more

Tree Toppers by Jane Davitt - 4 stars
I have read stories in the past which tried to get across the idea of the struggles and mistakes of a newbie Dom, but this one has been the best at it thusfar. Martin is very believable in his mistakes and what he learns from them. And in how the situation is corrected. Stan was also in the wrong in how he attempted to go about things between them, but it took a catalyst and a heart to heart to figure out why they were both struggling. Very, very enjoyable re ...more

I really enjoyed reading this anthology. I had a good time seeing examples of different authors' works.
Tree Topper - This one is about a couple whose dom is still very new to being a dom and has to learn how to read his sub and when it's time to get a sub to talk.
'Twas the Night - This was historical, which I don't tend to like. Again it seems to be a communication problem. I think it is acerbated by the times that the two live in.
Fireworks - This was a F/F story. The writing was well done in th ...more

Just in time for the chilliness of the holidays comes this scorching anthology that focuses on the naughty and offers a little something for everyone. With the main theme of bdsm running through each story we get relationships in the m/m, f/f, and ménage genre which are so hot they practically burn the hands holding this anthology.
Each story features memorable characters struggling to find satisfaction with another during the holidays and on every level it succeeds. Each relationship is full of ...more

What a great anthology! There's something for everyone. M/M, F/F, menage... all here. A great introduction to authors I hadn't read that I wish to check out. (I had only previously read L.A. Witt before.) Really, this is kink done right. None of this 50 Shades apologetic bullshit. These people enjoy their kinks! I can't even pick a favourite story out of the bunch because they were all that good. :) I guess I especially liked "Fireworks" by Katie Porter because I read so little f/f fiction. Of c

I enjoyed this anthology and the variety of the stories, but there wasn't one that really stood out, in my opinion, even if each one of them had something unique.
Tree Topper by Jane Davitt.
Martin is a new Dom and his sub, Stan, seems more than he can handle. I liked this story. Martin is older, well meaning, concerned, but he doesn't seem to reach through Stan, who's not very obedient and who doesn't seem to take him seriously. We learn that Stan comes from an abusive relationship, his behavior ...more

'Twas the Night by Ava March (4 stars) 9/28/13
I love Ave March! Okay, so this was a kinky, little Christmas short about two semi-established lovers and their encounter on Christmas evening. As always, these characters were hot...with all the things I love: some light BDSM with leather rope, spanking, rimming, plugs, etc etc etc. And, like with many of Ava's stories, the characters decide to change things up a bit. 4 stars because I'm being greedy, but for a short story, it really isn't lacking. ...more
