This series is like a serial with tiny snippets about Josh's job coming to life. The plot is very original in its concept but because it is so super short there is little time for world building. I hope that Andrea and Riptide Publishing turn it into a true serial with one snippet coming out each month. Even better would to have them come out more often if possible.

Andrea Speed is one of those authors whose writing really suits my taste. I started reading her stories after reading her least popular book and then I read them all. I loved each and every one of them. I like her writing and her characters and I adore her sense of humor. Peek-a-Boo has many of these elements, but it is not without the flaws, especially as a part of the series.

He makes a friend that he is not to sure he wants... a Yeti
I have to say that Ms. Speed kept me chuckling through this one as well.
And I do have to hand it to Andrea for keeping the story interesting and fresh... Well, when you read this story, it is not quite so fresh, hahahaha!

Cute story, but it was too short for me to really get into it. By the time it gets going, it's over. That's really my only complaint though. It's a quick read and quite amusing. I'm waffling between 3.5 and 4 stars.

This series makes me happy. I don't care if it's not 100 pages per book, Josh and his customers have the magical power to bring me to them. I like Josh's voice, his acceptance of whatever the night dishes out to him. The rug monster was ugly cute and endearing in his perseverance, it made me laugh out loud with his antics and peek-a-boo and I should re-read it all again to list in how many different ways Josh called him. The cover art is pretty perfect and it makes the sweetest candy out of this
