This was certainly not what I expected but completely worth the time to read.

Tierney was not an easy character to like. He was rude, selfish and a complete mess. It was his screwed up ways that ultimately endeared him to me. There were times I wanted to throttle him and many more times where I just wanted to comfort him and take him away from it all. Another one to add to my favourites, this was darker than the first book but still managed to be funny and sweet. Anne Tenino is an automatic buy for me, her books always leave me with huge smile and a happy heart <3

Cute story about Tierney Terrebonne and Dalton Lehnhart. They meet through a mutual friend, Ian. At first, Tierney is a hot mess who thinks he is in love with Ian. Dalton is not really impressed with mess that he is - but he falls for this type. Rich, jerk, more of a creep than a boyfriend.

The cover is misleading and belongs on a book much more interesting and fun than this one. I rarely give up on a book, but by 75% I had to admit defeat.

Sweet connection. Sam was as adorable as ever, and Tierney finally straightens things out with Ian, albeit near the end. Anne's way of wording things really strikes a cord with me. I found her writing clever and witty, despite the stressful premises of the story. ...more
