I'm a fan of S.E. Jakes. Her 'Hell or High Water' series is awesome, and I'm really looking forward to reading more from her 'Dirty Deeds' series. However, this was definitely not her best work. There was a lot that I really liked, but it was outweighed by parts of this book which were, in my opinion, completely ridiculous.

I'm a fan of S.E. Jakes. Her 'Hell or High Water' series is awesome, and I'm really looking forward to reading more from her 'Dirty Deeds' series. However, this was definitely not her best work. So that's my review. It wasn't a bad read, but it also wasn't one of S.E. Jakes' better books. If I'm being entirely honest, I'm pretty sure that if I wasn't already a fan, I would have rated this lower. I haven't read many biker MM books, so I can't compare it to others in the sub-genre. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience and the romance, which was quite on point, made up for many of my misgivings. I'm sure I'll be reading the sequel when it comes out.

First reaction: oooooh-eeee! That was hot.

okay, so I still don't "get" the motorcycle club thing, not why it's cool, or why it's sexy, or what's appealing about it or really anything about it. *shrugs* Turns out, I don't need to in order to find this story entertaining. :D

I had some familiar niggles--the author has these guys doing things like stealing cars and breaking into houses, and having all this technical know-how, but it's never actually demonstrated. It's sort of glossed over. "twist t ...more

I am an unashamed fan of SE Jakes. I just love the masculinity of her characters, and her writing for that matter. Yes, there is sometimes some unbelievably, as well as definite over-the-top moments, but I just move on over them—this is fiction after all, and entertainment is the main game in my opinion. For me, she entertains. I find it hard to put her books down.
