The first half of this book could not keep my attention. We open with Jason, struggling to keep home and his business foreclosing, and get over a break-up and some serious nerve pain in his shoulder from a recent accident. Goes without saying the guy could use a break. So he decides to offer his acupuncture doctor to rent a room from him (his straight Acupuncture Doc).

I typically steer clear of books with kids, but I can't quit this series. This book didn't disappoint and I love the feeling of community, aided by the cameos from the other characters in the series. plus, you know, angst :)

Where Nerves End is an entertaining read, with nice characters, a predictable, but pleasing story line, and not too much drama or angst to make it seem over the top.

First in the Tucker Springs series (the next book is by Heidi Cullinan and Marie Sexton), this story focuses on Jason who is a nightclub owner suffering chronic pain and Michael who is treating him with acupuncture and becomes his housemate. The story revolves around their attraction to each other (divorced dad Michael is not gay).
