Expected this to be better, didn't care for Ella or Shams. I liked the "40 rules", but this was shadowed by my disdain for their author (Shams) - who was unlikeable and (undervishly) selfish.

One of the best books I've read! The forty rules have surely made me rethink of many things in my life. It has questioned my beliefs. And it has certainly given a new perspective for the meaning of 'love'.
It deserves to be read again and again for the message it sends and for the meaning it gives to the reader.
It might have taken me a while to finish it, but now that I have, I want to go back to it again.

الكتاب عن الرؤية الصوفية الفلسفية للحياة و بأسلوب روائي. كتاب رائع و أحلى مما توقعت. سمعت عنه الكثير فكانت توقعاتي عالية و أكدتها قرائتي. أعجبني الأسلوب الذي ينتقل بين الماضي و الحاضر و الطرح السهل الممتنع للرؤية الصوفية الفلسفية للعالم. و كل الشكر للعمل المتميز للمترجم.
