I enjoyed this book so much!!! Everything about it was entertaining and captivating, starting with the list of ingredients for the special Turkish dish to the vibrant characters and their struggles. I think that this book speaks to many people because of its feminist elements wrapped in a middle-Eastern shawl. Comparing this novel to Elis Shafak's most famous one, The Forty Rules of Love, I can definitely say that I enjoyed this one a lot more than if I had read The Forty Rules of Love around th ...more
