This book had been on my list of books to read for some time and I'm glad I finally got around to it. I've been reading through some of the dystopian classics - such as 1984 and A Brave New World - over the past year and enjoy the way they present timeless social problems in a unique way.

I often think of the world through the lens of "what would a Martian think of how we do xyz?" and find it to be a good frame of reference to factor out the effect of "that's how we've always done things." The Ma ...more
