Frustrating. Overwhelming. Crazy. Confusing. Oh. Magical Realism. What does this book mean? Ok it has no plot. This book won the Nobel Prize in Literature. What is he trying to tell me? I'm not smart enough to understand. Why does everyone have the same name? Some exhaustive research on this book necessary. I don't like this book. Maybe in a couple years. Sigh!!

I really don't know what the hype of this book is all about, perhaps i will find out one day, it certainly won't be anytime soon.

I mean The book is well written but then again that is no shock when it comes to Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I just don't get the story, i don't know! and why was a single name used to refer to a dozen people, i mean if the intention was to create confusion the author did succeed!.
I will try again when i have nothing to read and see where it goes, until then...?
