What Members Thought
This was the beginning of my fascination with the Brontes. The summer I was 12, I rode my bike to our library and asked where i would find Jane Eyre. I took it home, reading it in my sister’s old bedroom. My sister’s room seemed haunted and matched my mood and that of the book.

This is one of those book I feel I should have read but never did. So I picked it up and started reading it and soon discovered why I never read it. I didn't hate the book, but after halfway through I still didn't like it, so I put it down. Maybe I'll pick it up again someday. Right now, I doubt it. Too many books, so little time!

I can't believe I waited this long to read this wonderful novel. Jane is a heroine and a role model, and the faith of the characters is inspiring. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading the other works by Charlotte Bronte. I am completely amazed at the writing of the Bronte sisters.
