If you are a book lover you will definitely like this book because this a a book about books. Humorous, mysterious, compelling and sad, everything is packed in this book.

A very fun book in my opinion that I wanted to keep on reading and reading and didn't want the story to end.
A book that can make you smile. No doubt a 5 star read for me.

I actually read this book in a day. I did not even think I could still read an adult book in a day. This book is a wonderful valentine to book lovers. It is a sweet story of redemption and second chances. Lots of literary references too, and of books that I have actually heard of and read. A nice read.

This is a story about a guy who owns a book store and doesn't like to be around other people much. Someone leaves him a baby in the store and his heart starts to soften. A good book to listen to as it isn't as long as some audio books. ...more

Oh, I loved this one! I didn't want it to end; I fell in love with the characters and with the story itself. I listened to this on audio, and wished I had read it in book form, because I wanted to savor each word. ...more

“Sometimes books don't find us until the right time.”
This was the time for me to meet A.J.Fikry. After a period of harsh WW2 books, last of which was "Unbroken", I was "broken" and ready for the lighter side of life.
Favorite quote:
“Why is any one book different from any other book? They are different, A.J. decides, because they are. We have to look inside many. We have to believe. We agree to be disappointed sometimes so that we can be exhilarated every now and again.”

This book was so good. Truly a book lovers book. I have been in the worst reading slump. Nothing has been catching my interest. I found this book at the library book sale. As soon as I started reading I was hooked. It is so good. Not at all what I was expecting, that mysterious package? Such a funny and heartwarming and heartbreaking story. It really came to life and the characters and setting felt so real, I just want to walk into the Island bookstore and start browsing.

It was okay. A bit underwhelming and too rushed for my liking, but still a nice read.

Loved this and would rate it at 4.5 stars. It's only shy of 5 because there was a bit of predictability but found it a very comforting read overall. ...more
