This is a story narrated by a teenage boy, Jo, visiting his brother Ed, on death row for a crime he didn't commit. The novel traces the final month of Ed's life before execution date and the reader is able to follow the appeal procedure and the torment real families go through. I read that this is based on real events, but the extent to which it is actually biographical I'm not sure. I'd be interested to know though.

Harrowing tale of a family of a young man on death row. The ups and downs of supporting someone who has been wrongfully convicted.
