***TEAM PEENISS FOREVER!!!***
Note: Hey I have written a fanfic and you've got to read it: Peeta Mellark in Real Life *puppy Peeta eyes*
I'd totally love this book better than the first one because the story became deeper, larger and complicated. When I was reading it I was like thinking where the story will go, I guessed wrong about my predictions that Katniss would go away, go to the woods or rebel and lead an uprising in their District.

Wow. Wow, Wow, Wow.
I Adored The Hunger games, and when I read the plot for Catching Fire I couldn't wait. I wondered how she could possibly top The Hunger Games, but I trusted her and she did NOT let me down!
The Premise of the sequel was so much more than I expected. I was sure that they would start on the tour, and end up running from the capitol. The happenings in District 11 made me SURE that this would happen. And then it didn't! She took it in a direction that I was not expecting, but tha ...more

Rating: 10/5 (I know that’s stupid, but it deserves it.)
Oh boy.
Starting this book was the highlight of my weekend, I was so excited. I should have waited until next year when I had the third one securely in my hands to have started this one.
The story that was left hanging in The Hunger Games picks right back up again, and drags you into the action from the first chapter. I’m not going to give anything away, but I will say that at times I laughed very hard, and at other times I very nearly cried. ...more

I really liked this sequel to 'The Hunger Games'. It has the same thrilling story line which makes you unable to put the book down. It's also a following to the story and not just a repeat of the hunger games, which many sequels do seem to be.
I am extremly curious and excited to know what will happen further and can't wait for book three. ...more

Wow! Just finished reading and my heart is still racing. I can tell I won't be getting much sleep tonight! I think this is one of those books where the full effect will take a few days to really sink in. I thought it was a little more gruesome than it needed to be, but otherwise a very good book. The author did a good job of weaving in the clues and explaining things later in the book. I am definitely itching for #3 now. I have to know what happens next!
