Shelves: time-travel
It never takes me two weeks to read a book--until now. I am one of those people that can stay up all night reading a good book, this book I would read three pages and be falling asleep or my mind would wander. Several times I thought about not finishing it but I doggedly continued. I was never so glad to finish a book, I actually did a mental happy dance.

This book actually is three individual stories in one that all come together in the end. I personally liked part two of three the best even though there is no actual time travel involved. The author mixes fictional characters with fictional representations of actual people, most notably H.G. Wells, author of "The Time Machine." At first, I wasn't sure I liked that. But when I realized that this book was written as a tribute to Wells, I set my feelings aside and approached it with an open mind. I ...more
