I liked this book. I really do like futuristic books (like The Hunger Games series or The Uglies series). And to me this fits in to that genre.

Matched is about a future society where you are "matched" with your mate for life at age 17. You go to see your Match revealed and then you can marry at age 21. Only problem is that when this girl Cassia saw her "match" it was her best friend. But then something unexpected happened. Xander's picture faded (on the microchip) and someone else's picture came

I truly loved this book. The story follows Cassia, a young girl about the age of seventeen, and how she reacts to the Society's Match for her. Her Match happens to be her best friend, Xander, or so it seems. Ky is also a Match for her so the question remains, what should she do?
This sounds cheesy, I know, but it made me feel like a really high level critic.
Anyways, it's definitely worth the read. :)

I woulda gave it 3 1/2 but it was closer to 3- Ah.. What can I say! ..This book is weird. After page 220 it starts getting interesting but until then it drags out ..Will I read the next? Yes because I am curious to know what happens. I just hope the series ges better.

I thought this book would have had more action, even if i know that it was mostly a romantic dystopia.
But since i like both boys that are i love with Cassia i think its totally okay. Which guy i like most? Actually i dont know, both of them are charming, but i think maybe i like Ky a little more... But Xander is cute too :)

I really enjoyed reading this. It reminded me of Delirium by Lauren Oliver except I thought it was better. I didn't get bored at all which was great! Going to start reading the next in this series now. ...more

I liked the ideas in the story - but the characters themselves bored me. I felt the story dragged a bit. I found the dystopian world fascinating and thought provoking.
