I have chosen 4 stars as I really wasn't too sure if I liked how it ended. I'm not going to give a spoiler but it just confused me as to why whatever happened, happened. I am hoping that in the newer books something will explain it. LOL
Anyway, I have been dying to get to this one as Vishous has intrigued me the whole way through and learning of his background and why he is the way he is was an amazing journey. Oh course the fact that he is into dominating in the bedroom piqued my interst too.

I must say, this book has not made easy it for me. Butchs history I found already a little bit weakly, but with this here it is hard to be delivered for me an exact feedback. There are, in any case, over and over again places at which the story limps a little in my opinion. Then it becomes again full of suspense around some sites later again to become dull. Mh, so weak spots there in this book.

Another great book in this great series! I find myself amazed at Ward's understanding of...well...pretty much everything. From human psychology to medicine, from weaponry to slang, and from sexuality to fantasy - and if I'm wrong, she certainly comes off like she knows better and I believe her.
Ward also has a way of helping the reader understand, justify or even become comfortable in subjects that are considered taboo. She approaches these subjects with tenderness and subtleness that doesn't sca ...more

It did start out good and awesome and amazing and hot and sexy and dark and bloody...
But I felt it went downhill...I don't deal well with old english or weird english or anything that isn't actual english-slangs aside.-
I've loved V throughout the first 4 books and I was so looking forward to this one...So it was a shocker that I ended up dreading to read some POVs' I really couldn't believe it.
I, romantic that I am, didn't deal well with the whole way V's love life ended or started as it is...

The book started out seeming very predictable. I was starting to wonder if they were all going to start with an injured Brother. But the latter part of the book made things interesting, but I won't give any spoilers away. I've discovered that it's the outlying characters that I really enjoy better than the couples in this series. Should be reading the next in the series in April.
