I have read all the books in this series and, to be honest, can't get enough of Cynthia and Raphael. In this story, there is a war brewing between two vampires over territory that borders the land governed by Raphael. Lucas is favored by him to take the command away from his rival but the opposing vampire lord doesn't know this.
