I loved this book much more than Myst's story there was a wealth more of information in this book than the first. It too longer to get through, but was still decent. I absolutely hated that Emma would not tell Lachlaine who she was, what she is, and that she was a 70yr old born vamp with a v card. I think a lot of the conflict could have been over with Or changed how it came about if she had. So im totally in love with Nix. I think Emmaline is ridiculous, though she does redeem herself in the end. I find all books by this author a lil weird. Simply because she hasnt seem to have heard of women empowerment. At least in the beginning of the books. Then towards the endings i fall in love with the happy feeling they leave and simply have to read the next one. So strange.
