I overall quite enjoyed this one, it left me feeling warm, fuzzy and heart-warming.

I did find some of the relatives and friends a bit over the top and obnoxious, but I get that is basically Robin Alexander's trope, and it's not as annoying as other cliches we see in lesfic so I find I can accept and put up with it more than other tropes that would otherwise put me off entirely. Especially since the characters generally do come from a place of love and wanting to protect their family and friends

Heartwarming romance. Starting from when they were both stranded in New York because of winter flight cancellations, Jorie and Lena met and bonded. Lena, who has always assumed she's straight, finds herself attracted to Jorie. The supporting characters are funny, engaging, and sweet - even acerbic Aunt Colleen. ...more

This is one of the funniest books I have listened to in a long time. I think it was made significantly more enjoyable by the skill of Lisa Cordileone’s narration, every character had a distinct voice and the southern twang was subtle but recognizable.

I will never forget, nor tire of on additional listens, Grandma and Aunt C’s banter. The supporting cast of this book really shines.
