4 stars. Another hit from Hunter. I’m having a blast going through her backlist. Her books are action packed and addictive as hell. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and I adored the characters of Sarah and Alex. I’m so glad that there is a book two that is a continuation of their story.

I don't think this is quite as good as some of Cari Hunter's writing, but having said that, it was still an excellent read. I found it a little slow to start, but once it got going, it was a page turner. I finished it in an afternoon. As always, the characters come to life on the page and the reader really does care about what happens to them. A good little adventure! ...more

Great playfulness between the characters, even though they are in a totally stressful situation. The book had me thinking, no don't do that. Like the slasher movies, when someone goes out at night alone. Alex and Sarah come from totally different places, yet have each had hardships. I enjoyed the book. ...more
