I've really come to like McKnight's comic voice.
Here she used it to describe small town life with a twist, the main character, manager of the family-owned funeral home, can see ghosts and interact with them. Mainly when the people have just died, but some stick around for longer. Fun!
The romance is pretty standard, but the two women are adorable.
Some reading pleasure is taken away from it since the dramatic plot points are kind of foreseeable, especially towards the end, but up until then it wa ...more
